Though the thought of registering at one of the Orange County Public Schools Career and Technical Education Tech Centers might feel daunting, it can be easy as long as you are prepared.
Below you’ll find the basic requirements for enrollment into OCPS CTE.
Requirements:
- Be 16 years of age or older and withdrawn from high school
- Submit a completed application for admission
- Provide proof of residency or immigration status
- Complete applicable testing requirements.
Note: The tech centers enroll Adult Education and Career Certificate students every nine weeks unless specified in the catalog.
All students must have completed the TABE test, if appropriate, finished the application process, and paid all required tuition and fees for the enrollment term no later than two business days before the start date. (Initial fee for TABE testing is $15 and $35 for the processing fee.)
