Early Childhood Education
Level 1:
Department of Children & Families (DCF)
45-hour training
20 hours, Behavioral Observation Scale (BOS)
10 hours Developmentally Appropriate Practices (DAP)
3-5 hours NEW literacy

Early Childhood Education / Florida Department of Education Early Childhood Professional Certificate (ECPC) Training
Program length 600 hours

Full-time Morning Classes

Must be working full time in child care center under direction of credentialed supervisor.

Child Care Apprenticeship Training
Program length 300 hours of related instruction, 4000 hours on the job training (OJT) equivalent to two years (no charge for the student). Automatic verification of Florida Staff Credential upon program completion.
