High School Diploma and Additional Credits

It’s never too late to earn your high school diploma. This flexible, self-paced program allows you to take courses and earn credits during the day or at night. Upon successful completion, you will receive an official OCPS High School Diploma. Thousands of students have earned diplomas this way. You can too!
Take this program if you:
- Are 16 years of age or older and have withdrawn from high school.
- Need a flexible, no cost solution for earning your high school diploma.
- Would like a strong academic foundation before starting a career or technical program at one of the Tech Centers.
Adult High School Credit
The Adult High School Credit program is a course of study leading to the completion of credits and passing of state mandated assessment (FCAT) necessary to qualify for a high school diploma. Except as provided elsewhere by law the graduation standards for adult shall be the same as those for secondary students.
High school seniors, with credit deficiencies, may enroll on a referral from their senior high counselors.
Requirements for an Adult High School Diploma:
- Language Arts 4 Credits
- Mathematics 3 Credits
- Social Studies 3 Credits
- Science 3 Credits
- Life Management Skills 1/2 Credit
- Practical Arts/Performing Arts 1 Credit
- Electives 9 1/2 Credits
- TOTAL: 24 Credits
