Take the GED Pre Assessment Test for Success!
Test to see if you need more preparation or if you are ready to take the official GED test. This 16-question test will take about 20 minutes and results will be provided immediately.
Follow these steps below to begin the test.
- Click here and log on to the Florida Adult and Technical Distance Education Consortium and Educator® Florida GED Testing Program website.
- Enter a Username (gedelc).
- Enter a Password (success or succeed).
- Click the "Sign In" button.
(At times, the last person to take the exam may not have logged out properly and you may receive one of two messages that an active session was not properly ended. If you get one of these messages, click on the gray "Re-enter Educator" button and click "Begin the Test." - Complete the GED Pre Assessment Test (16 questions) and your results will be provided immediately. If a previous exam attempt was left by an earlier student, simply click “Reset the Exam” button and click begin the test.
- If you need more preparation, then Free GED Prep Classes are provided at any OCPS technical/ACE center (see a Counselor for more details).
- If you are ready to take the official GED test then register today at any OCPS Technical Center.
