General Educational Development (GED) Diploma
It's never too late to finish what you started.
The GED is an alternative to a regular high school diploma. This program is designed to help you improve your reading, writing, social studies, science and mathematics skills. To accommodate busy schedules, day and evening programs are offered.
Take this program if you:
- Are 16 years of age or older and have withdrawn from high school.
- Need to improve your skills and confidence before taking the GED Exam.
General Educational Development (GED) Prep
The General Educational Development (GED) instruction is coursework in five subject areas at the 9.0 to 12.0 grade levels. Successful preparation for the GED exam is the key. Students enroll in one or more of the following courses of study: writing, social studies, science, literature and mathematics. To successfully complete the GED program, students must take and pass all subject area tests.
- Test 1: Language Arts, Writing
- Test 2: Social Studies
- Test 3: Science
- Test 4: Language Arts, Reading
- Test 5: Mathematics
GED testing fee: Full battery $70.00 (if taken individually, each subtest is $14; except writing subtest is $16).
