Dear prospective student,
Many people are not aware of the scope of the career and technical opportunities that are available through Orange County Public Schools Department of Career and Technical Education.
Although community members may be familiar with our four technical centers, they may not know about the full range of programs and classes available within those centers. Career and Technical Education offers a wide range of programs for adults and secondary students including Career Training, Adult Basic Education, Continuing Education, Personal Enrichment and Online Classes– everything to help you become the best you can be personally and professionally! In addition, the diversity of these program offerings strengthens the economic base of our community by providing a well-trained workforce.
Career and Technical Education is an integral part of the OCPS K-12 system and works in close partnership with the surrounding business and industry communities. Each program provides quality training in preparation for entering the workplace with the knowledge and competence needed in the Central Florida area. This website gives you an overview of services, programs and other vital information that will help you make an informed choice about a career. I am proud of the outstanding job Career and Technical Education is doing in our community and encourage you to take advantage of the excellent training and learning opportunities available at our four tech centers as well as our Adult and Community Education Centers.
