How did you become interested in current program or coursework?
I was always interested in computers and the opportunity came my way.
Did you have any fears about going back to school? Yes. My age and I have not been in school for 25 years, I didn’t think I could accomplish this.
Why did you select OCPS CTE as a postsecondary or continued education option?
A friend completed this course and recommended it with high reviews.
What do you like most about the program?
I really liked the hands on training.
What's something "unexpected" that you learned during your time at OCPS CTE?
The opportunities that opened up in my life.
How has OCPS changed your life?
School gave me a passion and a goal that I could work for.
What will you do with your certificate/degree/knowledge upon completion of your program/coursework?
Enjoy a job that I will love.
Do you have any future education plans (at OCPS CTE or another institution)?
Yes, I will continue to enroll in OCPS CTE schools to keep up with technology trends.
How do you spend your days on campus when attending class?
Right now online labs and working the tech help desk at Winter Park Techl. This allows me to help others and gain real life experience in the IT field.
What are your hobbies or what do you do for fun?
Working on my home computers.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
Working in the IT field and advancing.
